On our tour here, the Lion statue, Cathedral Square, and the famous Jewish Quarter (El Call) are among the places to be visited. After our tour, we head towards the city of Figueres. Figueres, located northeast of Girona, is known as the birthplace of Salvador Dali. The city is closely associated with the life and works of the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dali. The most important tourist site in Figueres is the Salvador Dali Museum. Dali established a museum here to leave something behind in his birthplace and exhibit his works. Today, this museum holds the largest collection of Dali's works, and since he designed every part of it, it is referred to as Dali's greatest masterpiece. Inside the museum, there are over 4,000 works created by Dali using various techniques. After the tour, transfer back to our hotel. Day 3: Barcelona – Park Güell & Gothic Quarter – Barcelona
After the breakfast served at the hotel, guests who wish may join the additional tour titled "Gaudi's Magnificent Work: Park Guell & Gothic Quarter" (60 Euro). Our first stop on this tour is Park Guell. One of Antoni Gaudi's magnificent works, Park Guell is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known as a fairy-tale park, it creates a magical atmosphere with its colorful stairs and imaginary pavilions. After seeing this magnificent work by Gaudi, our second stop is the Gothic Quarter. In the Gothic Quarter, you can feel the enchanting medieval atmosphere with its narrow labyrinthine streets dating back to the Middle Ages, Gothic churches, romantic squares, and Roman walls, admiring the historic fabric. Among the most important buildings in the neighborhood are Barcelona Cathedral, Plaça Reial (Royal Square), Plaça del Rei (King's Square), and La Rambla. After our tour, guests who wish may join the additional "Magnificent Sitges Tour" (40 Euro). Sitges is a charming coastal town located southwest of Barcelona on the Mediterranean coast. Famous for its turquoise sea, beautiful beaches, and lively atmosphere, it is also known for art and cultural events, hosting numerous art galleries, museums, and festivals. Our visit begins with the magical stairs of San Bartolome-Santa Tecla Cathedral, and we will lose ourselves in its historic streets. Built upon the remains of an old Romanesque and Gothic church, this cathedral dates back to the 17th century. After admiring this magnificent cathedral, our next journey takes us through the historic streets of Sitges, where the Maricel Palace and Museum, one of the rare examples of Modernism remaining in the medieval city center, is an absolute paradise for collectors. Right opposite, we will visit the Cau Ferrat Museum, which was the home of Santiago Rusiñol, one of the leaders of the modernist movement in Catalonia. He played a major role in making the town so well-known after he began exhibiting his paintings here in Sitges. After walking through the narrow streets where the Sitges Festival, attracting thousands of people every year and serving as a backdrop for horror and fantasy film categories, is celebrated, and seeing the colorful houses and charming bars, we will head towards the beach to spend the rest of our time enjoying the day like the locals.
