Upon our arrival at 10:45 local time, our panoramic city tour begins with our vehicle waiting for us in the area. Barcelona is a city that has gained worldwide fame as Spain's second largest city and the vibrant and enchanting capital of the Catalonia region. Washed by the warm waters of the Mediterranean, this magnificent city offers an unique combination of history, art, culture and entertainment. With its grand architecture, colorful streets, delicious cuisine and lively nightlife, Barcelona attracts millions of visitors every year. The city is like an open-air museum adorned with Antoni Gaudi's unique works. During our city tour in this beautiful city, places to be visited include La Sagrada Familia Church, Cristof Colomb Statue, Montjuic Hill, La Ramblas Street, Spain and Catalunya Square, Andalusia Arena, and Olympic Port. Our first stop on this tour is Girona. Located in northeastern Catalonia, about 100 kilometers north of Barcelona, Girona is a historic city famous for its medieval narrow streets, historical buildings, museums, churches, and city walls. Highlights of our tour here include the Lion Statue, Cathedral Square, and the famous Jewish Quarter (El Call). Afterward, we head to the town of Figueres. Situated northeast of Girona, Figueres is known as the birthplace of Salvador Dalí. The city is closely associated with the life and works of the renowned Spanish painter. The most important tourist attraction in Figueres is the Salvador Dalí Museum. Dalí established this museum to leave something behind in his hometown and to exhibit his works. Today, it houses the largest collection of Dalí’s art, and since he designed every part of the building, it is often referred to as Dalí's greatest masterpiece. The museum contains over 4,000 works created by Dalí using various techniques. After the tour, we return to Barcelona. In the Gothic Quarter, you can feel the enchanting medieval atmosphere through its narrow, labyrinthine streets dating back to the Middle Ages, Gothic churches, romantic squares, and Roman walls, while marveling at its historic fabric. Among the most important structures in the neighborhood are the Barcelona Cathedral, Plaça Reial (Royal Square), Plaça del Rei (King's Square), and La Rambla. Valencia is a historical and modern city located on the eastern coast of Spain, surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Upon our arrival, the city tour will include the City Hall, Gothic Cathedral, Arena, Museum of Arts and Sciences, the historic Mercado Central market, and the Old Silk Exchange. After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we set off towards Granada. Granada is a city full of history and culture located in the heart of the Andalusia region. Granada is famous for its historical heritage, music and dance, breathtaking views, and the Alhambra Palace. The city is one of Spain's leading tourist destinations and hosts millions of visitors each year. During our city tour here, places to be visited include Gran Via Street, BibRambla and City Squares, Granada Cathedral (exterior), Madraza (Granada's first university), Silk Market, and the old Nasri Caravanserai. After our tour, guests who wish may join the Extra Grand Alhambra Palace Tour. One of Granada's greatest treasures, the Alhambra Palace, is one of the most striking and impressive examples of Andalusian Islamic architecture. As one of the most visited historical sites in Spain, the Alhambra is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has gained worldwide fame. This famous monument was begun in the 13th century as a defensive fortress and palace on a plateau atop the Sabika hill overlooking Granada, with construction continuing until the 15th century. Due to the red earth used in its construction, it took on a reddish color and was named Alhambra, meaning "Red". After the morning breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Seville. Upon arrival, our city tour begins. Seville is a city famous for its historical and cultural richness, located in the Andalusia region of Spain. During our city tour along the banks of the Guadalquivir River, we will first visit Maria Luisa Park and Plaza America, which include the Plaza de Espana. We will also see the Seville Cathedral (exterior view), the third largest cathedral in the world, where Christopher Columbus's tomb is located; right next to the cathedral stands the Giralda Minaret, the last remaining part of the mosque upon which the cathedral was built, commemorating the Umayyad Caliphate of Andalusia; and the Alcazar (exterior view), the former palace of the Castilian kings. Later, passing through the Archives of the Indies, where records of all sea voyages to the Americas up to the 19th century are kept, we will reach the narrow old streets of the Santa Cruz neighborhood, known as "old" Seville. At the end of our walk, after viewing the Torre del Oro (Golden Tower)—which served as the main campus of the University of Seville, formerly a tobacco factory and now a maritime museum—we will transfer back to our hotel. In the evening, guests who wish may optionally join the spectacular Flamenco Fire Tour (55 Euro). Seville is one of the birthplaces of flamenco and is considered one of the most important centers of flamenco culture in Spain. The city is renowned for traditional flamenco performances, dance studios, and flamenco festivals and events. It is famous for its historical and cultural richness, impressive architecture, and structures bearing traces of Andalusian Islamic culture. We will reach Cordoba with a 1.5-hour journey, where first the Guadalquivir River will welcome us. We will enter the city by walking over the historic Roman bridge and passing through the Roman gate. In this 2000-year-old city, our first stop will be the Great Mosque of Cordoba, one of the largest mosques in the world, rising on 850 columns. Accompanied by our guide, we will witness the grandeur of this magnificent masterpiece while receiving fascinating information. After our tour inside the Cordoba Mosque, we will continue on foot, exploring the pristine old streets and seeing the ancient caravanserai and houses of Cordoba that reflect all the delicacies of Andalusian architecture. After the tour here, our second stop will be Mijas, a charming and traditional mountain town located in the province of Málaga in the southern part of Andalusia, Spain, famous especially for its whitewashed houses. Situated near the coast of Costa del Sol, Mijas stands out with both its sea views and its historic character. Mijas Pueblo, the historic part of the town, offers a postcard-like image with its narrow streets typical of Andalusian architecture, balconies decorated with flowers, and whitewashed houses. Although the town's origins date back to Ancient Rome and even the Phoenicians, its current character was largely shaped during the Muslim period of Andalusia. One of the most striking points of Mijas is the small bullfighting arena built on the town's hill and the ruins of Mijas Castle. After our tour, our final stop will be Malaga. During our tour of this open-air museum city, we will walk through historic narrow streets and see Spain's oldest cathedral, Toledo Cathedral (exterior), churches converted from Andalusian mosques, and countless other wonders. After the tour, we proceed to Madrid. Upon arrival, our city tour begins. As the capital of Spain, Madrid is among the most visited cities in the country due to its deep history and cultural richness. On our city tour of Madrid, we will visit: the Bullfighting Arena (exterior), Puerta de Alcalá and Plaza de la Independencia, the Cibeles Monument, the famous Gran Vía street, Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, Plaza Castilla, Atocha Train Station, the renowned Prado Museum (exterior), Plaza de España with statues of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, the Royal Palace (exterior), the nine-gated Plaza Mayor, and Sol Square.
