• To benefit from the Advantageous Excursion package prices on optional tours, the fee must be paid to the local agency representative during the tour.
• Optional tours take place with a minimum participation of 10 people. If fewer than 10 people participate, tour prices may change or the tour may be carried out by metro. Our guide may change the dates of the optional tours provided that their content remains the same.
• Prices for optional tours may vary depending on regional density or the period. The prices applicable at the time of purchase from the guide will be valid for optional tours.
• When only category information is provided in the tour program without specifying names and/or when there are options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.
• In our programs, the guide will meet guests at the destination. The guiding service included in the package covers only the panoramic city tour and the round-trip airport transfer. If optional tours are purchased, guiding services will also be provided. A different guide may accompany our guests during optional tours.
• Guests must inform the guide of any cancellation or changes to optional tours at least 24 hours in advance. The cancellation and refund conditions of the optional tour requested to be cancelled may vary depending on the local supplier’s final decision.
• During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances exceeding the specified kilometers. In such a case, BTB Tours will provide information 2 days before the tour departure date.
• The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours lasting no more than 2–3 hours, organized for the general introduction of the cities and conducted panoramically from inside the vehicle with commentary by the guide; they do not include entrance fees to museums or archaeological sites. 
• BTB Tours is not responsible if the panoramic tours and other tours specified in the program cannot take place because local authorities close the sites to be visited on the relevant day and time, roads along the route are closed due to an event, or weather conditions make the tour impossible. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot where possible, due to closed roads or locations where vehicle access is not permitted.
• In our tour programs, the guide meets guests at the airport of arrival. For return transfers, guests must be ready at the reception of the hotel where they are staying before the pick-up time provided by the guide.
• The hotels listed in the program are offered for sale as stated, etc. Hotel availability may vary during the high season or special periods. Therefore, a similar alternative hotel may be provided.
• We recommend that guests do not exchange large amounts of foreign currency in order to avoid being affected by exchange-rate differences. Old/worn foreign currency is not accepted by banks at the destinations. Therefore, optional tour reservations will not be made using old-style foreign currency that banks will not accept.
• As our package tours are intended for international travel, guests are responsible for their own foreign-language skills.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• At the time of reservation, it is mandatory to convey to guests the tour program specified and the general terms and obligations set out below. BTB TOURS is not responsible for complaints that may arise within the scope of the information provided. Our guest is deemed to have read and accepted all articles in advance.
• Guests traveling with a Turkish Republic green passport must renew their passports if the date of issue is more than 10 years ago. Otherwise, they may not be admitted to the country they are visiting and/or their flight from Türkiye may not be operated by the airline. In such a case, responsibility belongs to the passenger, and BTB TOURS cannot be held responsible in any way.
• In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border gate of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or otherwise damaged passports, such passports must be renewed, and if the country applies a visa requirement to citizens of the Republic of Türkiye, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.
• Guests’ passports must be valid for a minimum of 6 months as of the return flight date. Otherwise, responsibility for any obstacle lies with the guests.                   
• BTB TOURS acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the consulate. The consulate has the right to refuse to issue a visa when it deems necessary, and BTB TOURS has no responsibility whatsoever regarding the passenger’s inability to obtain a visa. BTB TOURS only undertakes the role of an intermediary institution. BTB TOURS has no liability or obligation in individual visa applications. Consumers have registered for the tour by accepting these terms.
• When BTB TOURS submits a visa application as an intermediary between the passenger and the consulate, the guest must check the accuracy of the information on the issued visa. BTB TOURS is not responsible for any incorrect spelling on the visa or for any resulting issue that may prevent boarding the flight.
• Under normal circumstances, obtaining the documents required by passengers who will apply for their own visas (hotel confirmation, flight ticket, etc.) takes 1 business day. Our guests must arrange their appointment dates and times by taking this period into consideration. Otherwise, BTB TOURS is not responsible for possible disruptions.
• If the guest cancels their reservation and/or does not or cannot participate in the relevant tour, the visa fee and service fee are non-refundable. If the guest obtained their visa and visa service through the BTB TOUR Visa Department and this visa service was specified as an additional service in the travel agreement, and if BTB TOURS cancels the relevant tour due to insufficient participation or another reason, the guest may receive a refund of the amount remaining after excluding the fees and similar amounts paid to the consulates for the visa, provided that they present their passport and prove that they did not use the visa within no later than 1 week after the visa expiry date. If the guest obtained their visa through their own means and/or with the assistance of a different visa intermediary company, and BTB TOURS cancels the relevant tour due to insufficient participation or another reason, no refund will be made to the guest.
• Routes may change depending on the city where the aircraft lands. The aircraft type and flight time may change, and since hotel availability may vary during the high season or special periods, a similar alternative hotel may be provided. These circumstances were notified at the time of the agreement, and THE PASSENGER PURCHASED THE TOUR BY ACCEPTING THE RISK OF A CHANGE IN FLIGHT TIME AND A HOTEL CHANGE.
• Triple rooms are provided according to hotel availability. Triple rooms include an extra bed, and the third bed is smaller than a standard bed. A guarantee of three separate beds cannot be provided in triple rooms; if a suitable room is available at the hotel, a block will be made by the hotel subject to availability.
• Child discounts are valid only for children staying with 2 adults.
• The breakfast served at the hotels is continental breakfast, not Turkish breakfast. Continental breakfast consists of butter, jam or honey, bread, tea or coffee, and fruit juice.
• Group breakfasts may be served in a separate dining room.
• During reservation/registration, the first and last name, date of birth, and passport number as shown in the passport to be used for travel must be provided and entered into the system. Flight tickets are issued according to this information. Penalties for cancellation or changes to flight tickets resulting from incorrect information are the guest’s responsibility.
• Whether obtained from BTB TOURS or not, our guests are required to have overseas travel and health insurance that begins one day before the tour date and ends one day after the tour date, and to carry the relevant insurance policy with them. Guests who do not carry their travel insurance may be fined by the police of the relevant country. Responsibility for any such fine incurred because the guest did not carry their travel insurance belongs to the guest.
• Due to diplomatic relations between countries, having entered or exited certain countries may result in being unable to obtain a visa for one or more other countries or being unable to enter through a border gate. As this situation is beyond the control of BTB TOURS, the parties acknowledge that BTB TOURS bears no responsibility in such a case.
• Guests who do not wish to participate in tours conducted along the route in order to provide the group with economic and time benefits during the visit agree to wait for the group at a nearby facility until the optional excursion ends. At the end of the excursion, our bus will pick up these guests and the tour will continue.
• Panoramic city tours are excursions organized to introduce the cities. City tours and optional excursions may be organized on different days without changing their content or may not take place depending on weather conditions. In such a case, BTB TOURS is obliged to offer our valued guests the most suitable alternative possible. Optional tours are organized with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, optional tours may not take place or their prices may change.
• Excursions or tours that local authorities do not permit for any reason will not take place. BTB TOURS cannot be held responsible if such excursions or tours cannot be conducted.
• The aircraft seats in our programs are group seats, and flights are arranged as a single round-trip ticket. If the outbound flight is missed and/or not used, the return flight may also be automatically forfeited. The airline’s rules apply in such cases.
• Last-minute flight delays and gate changes are displayed on information boards/screens at airports. These details must be monitored by passengers. If the flight is missed due to such a situation or personal reasons, the guest must purchase and pay for a new ticket themselves (if necessary, as a round-trip ticket according to the previous article). In addition, they may partially or completely miss the first day’s program because they missed the group’s departure; responsibility in this case belongs to the guest. Furthermore, if the guest travels to the relevant city/country on a flight different from the group’s, the airport-city or airport-hotel transfer is the guest’s responsibility.
• Guests who wish to upgrade their flight tickets using miles may do so only after the tickets have been issued, provided there is availability on the relevant airline’s relevant flight. Since the aircraft seats in our programs are in the group class, if availability exists, it may be necessary to pay the difference specified by the airline and move the ticket from the group class to an economy class eligible for an upgrade before carrying out the upgrade. Any resulting price difference is the guest’s responsibility. Group tickets in our programs are issued a few days before the tour departure.
• To use your mobile phones abroad, you must check with your GSM operator before leaving Türkiye whether your line is enabled for international calls and incoming calls.
• When temporarily or completely leaving the means of transportation you use and the hotels where you stay during your trip, please make sure that you have taken all your belongings.
• BTB TOURS may change the order of the cities in the program and/or the airline to be used without altering the content of the program in cases of force majeure or when it deems necessary.
• BTB TOURS reserves the right to change hotel names provided that the category remains the same.
• BTB TOURS is not responsible for belongings forgotten, lost, or stolen during the tour.
• Children under the age of 18 must obtain a notarized consent letter from their father if traveling with their mother, from their mother if traveling with their father, and from both their mother and father if traveling with a third person. BTB TOURS cannot be held responsible if the flight does not take place due to the absence of a consent letter.
• The General Terms and Conditions are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently of the tour program.
