IMPORTANT NOTES

• To benefit from the Advantageous Trip package prices on extra tours, the fee must be paid to the local agency representative during the tour.
• Extra tours operate with a minimum participation of 10 people. If fewer than 10 people participate, tour prices may change or the tour may be operated by metro. Our guide may change the days of the extra tours, provided that the content remains the same.
• Prices for extra tours may change depending on the destination’s occupancy or the period. The prices quoted by the guide at the time of purchase will apply to extra tours.
• When only category information is provided without specifying names in the tour program and/or when there are options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.
• In our programs, the guide will welcome you at the destination. The guiding service included in the package covers only the panoramic city tour and the round-trip airport transfer. If extra tours are purchased, guiding service will also be provided. Different guides may accompany our guests during extra tours.
• Guests must notify the guide of extra tour cancellations or changes at least 24 hours in advance. The cancellation-refund status of the extra tour requested for cancellation may vary depending on the local supplier’s final decision.
• During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events and sports tournaments, hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified kilometers. In such a case, BTB Tours will provide information 2 days before the tour departure date.
• The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours lasting no more than 2-3 hours, organized for a general introduction to the cities and conducted panoramically from inside the vehicle with commentary by the guide; they do not include museum or archaeological-site entrance fees. 
• BTB Tours is not responsible if panoramic tours or other tours specified in the program cannot operate because local authorities close the attractions on the relevant day and time, roads along the route are closed due to an event, or weather conditions make the tour impossible. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot where roads are closed or vehicle access is not permitted, subject to available facilities.
• In our tour programs, the guide welcomes guests at the airport of arrival. For return transfers, guests must be ready at the reception of the hotel where they are staying before the pickup time given by the guide.
• The hotels listed in the program are offered for sale, among other options. Hotel availability may vary during the high season or special periods. Therefore, a similar alternative hotel may be provided.
• To prevent guests from being affected by exchange-rate differences, we recommend that they do not exchange large amounts of foreign currency. Old/worn foreign currency is not accepted by banks at the destinations. Therefore, extra tour reservations will not be made using old-style foreign currency that banks will not accept.
• As our package tours are intended for travel abroad, guests are responsible for their own foreign-language skills.

GENERAL TERMS

• At the time of reservation, it is mandatory to convey to guests the tour program stated and the general terms and obligations below. BTB TOURS is not responsible for complaints that may arise within the scope of the information provided. Our guest is deemed to have read and accepted all items in advance.
• Guests traveling with a Turkish Republic green passport must renew their passports if the date of issue is more than 10 years ago. Otherwise, they may be denied entry to the country they are visiting and/or their flight from Turkey may not be operated by the airline. In such a case, responsibility belongs to the passenger, and BTB TOURS cannot be held responsible in any way.
• To avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or otherwise damaged passports, such passports must be renewed, and if the country applies visas to Turkish Republic citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.
• Guest passports must be valid for a minimum of 6 months as of the return flight date. Otherwise, any impediment is the guests’ responsibility.                    
• BTB TOURS acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the consulate. The consulate has the right not to issue a visa when it deems necessary, and BTB TOURS has no responsibility whatsoever regarding the passenger’s inability to obtain a visa. BTB TOURS only undertakes the role of intermediary. BTB TOURS has no sanction or responsibility in personal visa applications. Consumers have registered for the tour by accepting these terms.
• When BTB TOURS applies for a visa as an intermediary between the passenger and the consulate, the guest must check the accuracy of the information on the resulting visa. BTB TOURS is not responsible for any incorrect spelling on the visa or for any resulting situation that may prevent travel.
• Under normal circumstances, obtaining the documents required by passengers who will apply for their own visas (hotel confirmation, flight ticket, etc.) takes 1 business day. Our guests must arrange their appointment dates and times by taking this period into account. Otherwise, BTB TOURS is not responsible for possible disruptions.
• If the guest cancels the reservation and/or does not/cannot participate in the relevant tour, the visa fee and service fee are non-refundable. If the guest obtained their visa and visa service through the BTB TOUR Visa department and this visa service is specified as an additional service in the travel contract, and if BTB TOURS cancels the relevant tour due to insufficient participation or another reason, the guest may receive a refund of the amount remaining after excluding fees and similar amounts paid to consulates for the visa, provided that they prove with their passport within 1 week at the latest after the visa expiry date that they did not use the visa. If the guest obtained the visa through their own means and/or with the assistance of another visa agency and BTB TOURS cancels the relevant tour due to insufficient participation or another reason, no refund will be made.
• Routes may change depending on the city where the aircraft lands. The aircraft type and flight time may change, and since hotel availability may vary during the high season or special periods, a similar alternative hotel may be provided. These circumstances were notified at the time of contract, and THE PASSENGER PURCHASED THE TOUR BY ACCEPTING THE RISK OF FLIGHT TIME CHANGES AND HOTEL CHANGES.
• Triple rooms are provided subject to hotel availability. Triple rooms have an extra bed, and the third bed is smaller than a standard bed. Three separate beds cannot be guaranteed in triple rooms; if the hotel has a suitable room, the hotel will block it subject to availability.
• Child discounts are valid only for children staying with 2 adults.
• The breakfast served at the hotels is continental breakfast, not Turkish breakfast. Continental breakfast consists of butter, jam or honey, bread, tea or coffee, and fruit juice.
• Group breakfasts may be served in a separate hall.
• During reservation/registration, the first and last name, date of birth and passport number exactly as shown in the passport to be used for travel must be provided and entered into the system. Flight tickets are issued according to this information. Penalties for cancellation or changes to flight tickets resulting from incorrect information are the guest’s responsibility.
• Whether obtained from BTB TOURS or not, our guests must have overseas travel and health insurance beginning one day before the tour date and ending one day after the tour date, and must carry the relevant insurance policy with them. Guests who do not carry their travel insurance may be fined by the police of the relevant country. Responsibility for such a fine belongs to our guests.
• Due to diplomatic relations between countries, having entered or exited certain countries may result in being unable to obtain a visa for one or more other countries or being unable to enter through a border gate. Since this situation is beyond BTB TOURS’ control, the parties acknowledge that BTB TOURS has no responsibility in such a case.
• Guests who do not wish to participate in tours conducted along the route for the purpose of providing the group with economic and time benefits agree to wait for the group at a nearby facility until the extra excursion ends. At the end of the excursion, our bus will pick up these guests and the excursion will continue.
• Panoramic city tours are organized to introduce the cities. City tours and extra excursions may be held on different days, provided that their content does not change, or may not take place depending on weather conditions. In such a case, BTB TOURS is obliged to offer our valued guests the most suitable alternative possible. Extra tours are organized with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, extra tours may not be operated or the price may change.
• Excursions or tours that local authorities do not permit for any reason will not be operated. BTB TOURS cannot be held responsible if these excursions or tours cannot take place.
• The airline seats in our programs are group seats and are issued as a single round-trip ticket. If the outbound flight is missed and/or not used, the return flight may also be automatically forfeited. The airline’s rules apply in such cases.
• Last-minute flight delays and gate changes are displayed on information boards/screens at airports. This information must be monitored by passengers. If a flight is missed due to such a situation or personal reasons, the guest must purchase a new ticket at their own expense (if necessary, a round-trip ticket according to the previous item). They may also partially or completely miss the first day’s program because they missed the group’s departure; responsibility in this case belongs to the guest. If they travel to the relevant city/country on a flight different from the group’s, the airport-city or airport-hotel transfer is the guest’s responsibility.
• Guests who wish to upgrade their flight tickets using miles may do so only after the tickets have been issued and provided that there is availability on the relevant airline’s relevant flight. Since the airline seats in our programs are in group class, before upgrading the desired ticket, if availability exists, it may be necessary to pay the difference specified by the airline and transfer the ticket from group class to an upgradeable economy class. Any resulting price difference is the guest’s responsibility. Group tickets in our programs are issued a few days before the tour departure. 
• To use your mobile phones abroad, before leaving Turkey you must check with your GSM operator whether your line is open to international calls and incoming calls. 
• When leaving the means of transportation used during your trip or the hotels where you stay, either temporarily or completely, please make sure that you have collected all your belongings. 
• In cases of force majeure or when deemed necessary, BTB TOURS may change the order of cities in the program and/or the airline to be used, without altering the program content.
• BTB TOURS reserves the right to change hotel names, provided that the category remains the same.
• BTB TOURS is not responsible for items forgotten, lost or stolen during the tour.
• Children under 18 traveling with their mother must obtain a consent letter from their father; traveling with their father, from their mother; and traveling with a third person, from both their mother and father. BTB TOURS cannot be held responsible if the flight cannot take place due to the absence of a consent letter.
• The General Terms are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently of the tour program.
