IMPORTANT NOTES

• To benefit from the Advantageous Excursion package prices on optional tours, the fee must be paid to the local agency representative during the tour.
• Optional tours take place with a minimum participation of 10 people. If fewer than 10 people participate, tour prices may change or the tour may be conducted by metro. Our guide may change the dates of optional tours provided that their content remains the same.
• Prices for optional tours may change depending on regional demand or the period. The prices quoted by the guide at the time of purchase will apply to optional tours.
• When only category information is provided in the tour program without specifying a name and/or when there are options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by your agency 48 hours before the excursion departure.
• In our programs, the guide will meet guests at the destination. The guiding service included in the package covers only the panoramic city tour and round-trip airport transfers. If optional tours are purchased, guiding service will also be provided. A different guide may accompany guests during optional tours.
• Guests must notify the guide of optional tour cancellations or changes at least 24 hours in advance. The cancellation and refund conditions of the requested optional tour may vary depending on the local supplier's final decision.
• During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events and sports tournaments, hotels may be used at distances greater than the stated kilometers. In such cases, BTB Tours will provide information 2 days before the tour departure date.
• The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours lasting no more than 2–3 hours, organized for a general introduction to the cities and conducted panoramically with the guide's narration from inside the vehicle; they do not include museum or archaeological site entrance fees.
• BTB Tours is not responsible if panoramic tours or other tours specified in the program cannot take place because local authorities close the sites to be visited on the scheduled day and time, roads along the route are closed due to an event, or weather conditions make the tour impossible. Some tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot, where possible, at locations with closed roads or where vehicle access is not permitted.
• In our tour programs, the guide meets guests at the arrival airport. For return transfers, guests must be ready at the reception of the hotel where they are staying before the pickup time provided by the guide.
• The hotels listed in the program are offered for sale as stated. Hotel availability may vary during high season or special periods. Therefore, a similar alternative hotel may be provided.
• To prevent guests from being affected by exchange-rate differences, we recommend that they do not exchange large amounts of foreign currency. Old or worn foreign currency is not accepted by banks in the destinations. Therefore, optional tour reservations cannot be made using old-style foreign currency that banks will not accept.
• As our package tours are intended for travel abroad, guests are responsible for their own foreign-language skills.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• At the time of reservation, it is mandatory to communicate the tour program and the general terms and obligations set out below to guests. BTB TOURS is not responsible for complaints that may arise within the scope of the information provided. Our guest is deemed to have read and accepted all provisions in advance.
• Guests traveling with a Turkish Republic green passport must renew their passports if the date of issue is more than 10 years ago. Otherwise, they may not be admitted to the country they are visiting and/or their flight from Turkey may not be operated by the airline. In such a case, responsibility belongs to the passenger, and BTB TOURS cannot be held responsible in any way.
• To avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or otherwise damaged passports, such passports must be renewed, and if the country requires a visa for Turkish citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.
• Guests' passports must be valid for a minimum of 6 months as of the return flight date. Any resulting obstacle or issue is the responsibility of the guests.
• BTB TOURS acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the consulate. The consulate has the right to refuse to issue a visa when it deems necessary, and BTB TOURS has no responsibility whatsoever if the passenger cannot obtain a visa. BTB TOURS assumes only the role of intermediary. BTB TOURS has no obligation or responsibility regarding personal visa applications. Consumers have registered for the tour by accepting these terms.
• When BTB TOURS applies for a visa as an intermediary between the passenger and the consulate, the guest must check the accuracy of the information on the issued visa. BTB TOURS is not responsible for any incorrect spelling on the visa or for any resulting situation that may prevent travel.
• Under normal circumstances, obtaining the documents required by passengers who will apply for their own visas (hotel confirmation, flight ticket, etc.) takes 1 business day. Guests must arrange their appointment dates and times with this period in mind. Otherwise, BTB TOURS is not responsible for any possible problems.
• If the guest cancels their reservation and/or does not or cannot participate in the relevant tour, the visa fee and service fee are non-refundable. If the guest obtained their visa and visa service through the BTB TOUR Visa Department and this visa service was specified as an additional service in the travel agreement, and if BTB TOURS cancels the relevant tour due to insufficient participation or another reason, the guest may receive a refund of the amount remaining after excluding consular fees and similar amounts paid for the visa, provided that they present their passport and prove that they did not use the visa within 1 week at the latest after the visa expiration date. If the guest obtained their visa through their own means and/or with the assistance of another visa intermediary, and BTB TOURS cancels the relevant tour due to insufficient participation or another reason, no refund will be made to the guest.
• Routes may change depending on the city where the aircraft lands. The aircraft type and flight time may change, and since hotel availability may vary during high season or special periods, a similar alternative hotel may be provided. These circumstances were notified at the time of contract, and THE PASSENGER PURCHASED THE TOUR BY ACCEPTING THE RISK OF FLIGHT TIME CHANGES AND HOTEL CHANGES.
• Triple rooms are provided subject to hotel availability. Triple rooms have an extra bed, and the third bed is smaller than a standard bed. Three separate beds cannot be guaranteed in triple rooms; if the hotel has a suitable room, the hotel will block it subject to availability.
• Child discounts are valid only for children staying with 2 adults.
• The breakfast served at hotels is continental breakfast, not Turkish breakfast. Continental breakfast consists of butter, jam or honey, bread, tea or coffee, and fruit juice.
• Group breakfasts may be served in a separate room.
• During reservation/registration, the first and last name as stated in the passport to be used for travel, date of birth and passport number must be provided and entered into the system. Flight tickets are issued according to this information. Penalties for flight ticket cancellations or changes resulting from incorrect information are the responsibility of the guest.
• Whether or not obtained from BTB TOURS, our guests are required to have overseas travel and health insurance beginning one day before the tour date and ending one day after the tour date, and to carry the relevant insurance policy with them. Guests who do not carry their travel insurance may be fined by the police of the relevant country. If such a fine is imposed because the guest did not carry their travel insurance, responsibility belongs to the guest.
• Due to diplomatic relations between countries, entering or exiting certain countries may result in a visa being denied by another or multiple countries or in the inability to enter through a border gate. Since this is beyond BTB TOURS' control, the parties acknowledge that BTB TOURS bears no responsibility in such a situation.
• Guests who do not wish to participate in tours conducted along the route in order to provide the group with economic and time benefits for the visit agree to wait for the group at a nearby facility until the optional excursion ends. At the end of the excursion, our bus will pick up these guests and the tour will continue.
• Panoramic city tours are excursions organized to introduce the cities. City tours and optional excursions may be held on different days, provided that their content remains unchanged, or may not take place depending on weather conditions. In such cases, BTB TOURS is obliged to offer our valued guests the most suitable alternative available. Optional tours are organized with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If sufficient participation is not reached, optional tours may not take place or prices may change.
• Excursions or tours that local authorities do not permit for any reason will not take place. BTB TOURS cannot be held responsible for the inability to conduct such excursions or tours.
• The airline seats in our programs are group seats, and tickets are issued as a single round-trip ticket. If the outbound flight is missed and/or not used, the return flight may also be automatically forfeited. The airline's rules apply in such cases.
• Last-minute flight delays and gate changes are displayed on information boards/screens at airports. Guests must monitor this information themselves. If a flight is missed due to such a situation or personal reasons, the guest must purchase and pay for a new ticket themselves (if necessary, as a round-trip ticket according to the previous clause). In addition, they may partially or completely miss the first day's program because they missed the group's departure; responsibility in this case belongs to the guest. If they travel to the relevant city/country on a flight different from that of the group, the airport-to-city or airport-to-hotel transfer is the guest's responsibility.
• Guests wishing to upgrade their flight tickets using miles may do so only after the tickets have been issued and provided that there is availability on the relevant airline's flight. Since the airline seats in our programs are in a group class, before upgrading the requested ticket if availability exists, it may be necessary to pay the difference specified by the airline and move the ticket from the group class to an economy class eligible for upgrade. Any resulting price difference is the guest's responsibility. Group tickets in our programs are issued a few days before the tour departure.
• To use your mobile phones abroad, before leaving Turkey you must check with your GSM operator whether your line is enabled for international calls and roaming.
• When briefly or completely leaving the means of transport used during your trip or the hotels where you stay, please make sure that you have taken all your belongings with you.
• In cases of force majeure or when deemed necessary, BTB TOURS may change the order of the cities in the program and/or the airline to be used, without altering the content of the program.
• BTB TOURS reserves the right to change hotel names provided that the category remains the same.
• BTB TOURS is not responsible for items forgotten, lost or stolen during the tour.
• Children under the age of 18 traveling with their mother must obtain a notarized consent form from their father; those traveling with their father must obtain one from their mother; and those traveling with a third person must obtain one from both their mother and father. BTB TOURS cannot be held responsible if the flight does not take place due to the absence of a consent form.
• The General Terms and Conditions are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently of the tour program.
