## Tour Program

### Day 1: Istanbul – Madrid

Meeting at the Turkish Airlines counter in Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal 3 hours before departure. After baggage, ticket and passport procedures, we depart for Madrid at 13:25 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1859. Upon arrival at 16:55 local time, our panoramic city tour begins with our vehicle waiting for us in the area. Madrid, the capital of Spain, is one of the most visited cities in Spain with its deep history and cultural richness. During our city tour here, the places to be seen include the Bullfighting Arena (exterior view), Puerta de Alcalá and Independence Square, Cibeles Monument, the famous Grand Via street, Bernabeu Stadium, Plaza Castilla, Atocha Train Station, the famous Prado Museum (exterior view), Plaza de Espana featuring statues of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, Royal Palace (exterior view), the nine-gated Plaza Mayor and Sol Square. After our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

### Day 2: Madrid – Toledo – Seville

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Seville. On the way, guests who wish can join an optional Grand Toledo Tour (70 Euro). Located approximately 70 kilometers from Madrid, Toledo is a UNESCO-protected historic city that has been home to diverse cultures of the Iberian Peninsula, bearing traces of Roman, Visigothic, Muslim, and Christian civilizations. It is renowned for its magnificent medieval architecture and cultural heritage. During our tour of this open-air museum, we will walk through its historic narrow streets and see countless wonders, including the Cathedral of Toledo (exterior view), Spain's oldest cathedral; churches converted from former Andalusian mosques; and many more. After the tour, we continue to Seville. Upon arrival, our city tour begins. Seville is a city famous for its historical and cultural richness in the Andalusia region of Spain. Along the banks of the Guadalquivir River, our city tour includes: Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España, followed by Plaza de América; the Tomb of Christopher Columbus; the Cathedral of Seville (exterior view), the world's third-largest cathedral; next to it stands the Giralda Minaret, the last remaining part of the mosque upon which the cathedral was built, commemorating the Umayyad Caliphate of Andalusia; and the Alcazar (exterior view), the palace of the Castilian kings. Next, we pass through the General Archive of the Indies, where records of all sea voyages to the Americas up to the 19th century are kept, and reach the old narrow streets of the Santa Cruz neighborhood, known as "Old" Seville. At the end of our walk, after seeing the Torre del Oro (Golden Tower)—formerly a tobacco factory and now a maritime museum, which serves as the main campus of the University of Seville—we transfer to our hotel. In the evening, guests who wish can join an optional Grand Flamenco Fire Tour (55 Euro). Seville is one of the birthplaces of flamenco and is considered one of the most important centers of flamenco culture in Spain. The city is famous for traditional flamenco performances, dance studios, and flamenco festivals and events. During our flamenco evening, you will be mesmerized watching the flamenco dancers. After the tour, we transfer back to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

### Day 3: Seville – Cordoba – Mijas – Malaga – Seville

After the breakfast provided at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Grand Cities (Cordoba & Mijas & Malaga) tour for an additional fee (140 Euro). Cordoba is a historic city located in the Andalusia region of Spain. It is renowned for its historical and cultural richness, impressive architecture, and structures bearing traces of Andalusian Islamic culture. We will reach Cordoba via a 1.5-hour journey, where we will first be greeted by the Guadalquivir River. Crossing the historic Roman bridge and passing through the Roman gate, we will enter the city. The most magnificent structure of this 2,000-year-old city is the Great Mosque of Cordoba, one of the largest mosques in the world, rising on 850 columns. Entering it with our guide, we will witness the grandeur of this magnificent masterpiece while receiving fascinating information. After our tour inside the Cordoba Mosque, we will continue on foot, exploring the pristine old streets and seeing the ancient caravanserai and traditional houses of Cordoba that reflect all the subtleties of Andalusian architecture. Following this part of the tour, our second stop will be Mijas, a charming and traditional mountain town located in the province of Málaga within the Andalusia region of southern Spain, famous especially for its whitewashed houses. Situated near the Costa del Sol coast, Mijas stands out with both its sea views and its historic character. Mijas Pueblo, the historic part of the town, offers a postcard-like image with its narrow streets typical of Andalusian architecture, balconies adorned with flowers, and whitewashed houses. Although the town's origins date back to Ancient Rome and even the Phoenicians, its current character was largely shaped during the Muslim period of Andalusia. One of the most striking features of Mijas is the small bullfighting arena built atop the town's hill and the ruins of Mijas Castle. After our tour, our final stop will be Malaga. In our Malaga tour, we will visit places such as Paseo de Parque (Park Avenue), Plaza de la Merced, the Jewish Quarter, Constitution Square, Larios Avenue, Puerto Marina (Harbor), La Alcazaba, and Gibralfaro Castle—the birthplace of the famous painter Pablo Picasso. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel in Ecija. Overnight stay at the hotel.

### Day 4: Sevilla – Granada

After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we will head to Granada. Granada is a city full of history and culture located in the heart of the Andalusia region. Granada is famous for its historical heritage, music and dance, breathtaking views, and the Alhambra Palace. The city is one of Spain's leading tourist destinations and hosts millions of visitors every year. During our city tour here, places to be visited include Gran Via Street, BibRambla and City Squares, Granada Cathedral (exterior), Madraza (Granada's first university), Silk Market, and the old Nasrid Caravanserai. After our tour, guests who wish can join the Extra Grand Alhambra Palace Tour organized additionally. (80 Euro) There is a daily visitor limit at the Alhambra Palace, and our palace visit may be conducted excluding the harem depending on availability. One of Granada's greatest treasures, the Alhambra Palace, is one of the most striking and impressive examples of Andalusian Islamic architecture. As one of the most visited historical sites in Spain, the Alhambra is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List and has gained worldwide fame. This famous work was begun as a defensive fortress and palace in the 13th century on a plateau atop the Sabika hill overlooking Granada, and construction continued until the 15th century. Due to the red earth used in its construction, it took on a reddish color and was named Alhambra, meaning "Red". Guests who wish can additionally join our Extra Grand Neighborhoods (Albaicin and Sacromonte Gypsy Quarter) tour after our tour. (60 Euro) Albaicin is a historic and enchanting neighborhood of Granada. Listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, this area is famous for its narrow streets, whitewashed houses, and scenic hills. It bears traces of Andalusian Islamic culture and architecture and reflects Granada's history. After the tour here, we will watch the Gypsy show and their lifestyle while enjoying a drink in completely handmade caves. After our tour, we will return to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

### Day 5: Granada – Valencia

After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we set off towards Valencia. Valencia is a historic and modern city located on Spain's eastern coast, surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea. As Spain's third-largest city, Valencia attracts visitors with its rich history, culture, and art. Upon our arrival, during the city tour, we will visit the City Hall, Gothic Cathedral, Arena, Museum of Arts and Sciences, the Historic Mercado Central Market, and the Old Silk Exchange. After our tour, we will be transferred to our hotel, check into our rooms, and have free time. Overnight at the hotel.

### Day 6: Valencia – Barcelona

After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we move to Barcelona. With our arrival, our city tour begins. Barcelona is a city that has gained worldwide fame as Spain's second-largest city and the vibrant and enchanting capital of the Catalonia region. Washed by the warm waters of the Mediterranean, this magnificent city offers an unique combination of history, art, culture, and entertainment. With its grand architecture, colorful streets, delicious cuisine, and lively nightlife, Barcelona attracts millions of visitors every year. The city is like an open-air museum adorned with Antoni Gaudi's unique works. During our city tour in this beautiful city, places to be visited include La Sagrada Familia Church, Cristof Colomb Statue, Montjuic Hill, La Ramblas Street, Spain and Catalunya Square, Andalusia Arena, and Olympic Port. After our tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. Overnight at the hotel.

### Day 7: Barcelona – Girona & Figueres (Dalí Museum) – Barcelona

After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, guests who wish can join the optional tour "Pearls of Grand Northern Catalonia (Girona & Figueras & Dali Museum)" for an additional fee. (70 Euro) Our first stop on this tour is Girona. Girona, a historic city located in northeastern Catalonia, approximately 100 kilometers north of Barcelona, is famous for its medieval narrow streets, historical buildings, museums, churches, and walls. On our tour here, we will visit the Lion Statue, Cathedral Square, and the famous Jewish Quarter (El Call). After the tour, we head towards the city of Figueres. Figueres, located northeast of Girona, is known as the birthplace of Salvador Dali. The city is closely associated with the life and works of the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dali. The most important tourist site in Figueres is the Salvador Dali Museum. Dali established a museum here to leave something behind in his birthplace and to exhibit his works. Today, this museum holds the largest collection of Dali's works, and since he designed every part of it, it is referred to as Dali's greatest masterpiece. The museum contains over 4,000 works created by Dali using various techniques. After the tour, we return to Barcelona. Guests who wish can join the optional tour "Gaudi's Grand Masterpiece (Park Guell) & Gothic Quarter" for an additional fee. (50 Euro) Our first stop on this tour is Park Guell. One of Antoni Gaudi's magnificent works, Park Guell is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known as the fairytale park, it creates a magical atmosphere with its colorful stairs and fantasy pavilions. After seeing this magnificent work of Gaudi, our second stop is the Gothic Quarter. In the Gothic Quarter, you can feel the enchanting atmosphere of the Middle Ages through its narrow and labyrinthine medieval streets, Gothic churches, romantic squares, and Roman walls, admiring the historic fabric. Among the most important structures in the quarter are the Barcelona Cathedral, Plaça Reial (Royal Square), Plaça del Rei (King's Square), and La Rambla. After the tour, we transfer back to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

### Day 8: Barcelona – Istanbul

After the breakfast provided at the hotel, we depart for the airport at the time specified by the guide. Following baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we fly to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1856 at 19:05. Arrival at 23:30 local time marks the end of our tour.

• A passport valid for at least 6 months covering the minimum tour duration is required for this tour.
